Jakob Barrientos

Jakob has a burning passion to see the lost come to Jesus and to see those bruised and bound by the enemy healed and set free! After being arrested on drug charges, and God miraculously raising him up from a drug overdose, he's been on a mission to see God touch the lives of those who desperately need Jesus.​

Jakob and Leah are both graduates of Christ for the Nations in Dallas Texas. Jakob spent several years traveling and ministering alongside his mentor, the late revivalist and evangelist, Steve Hill. For seven years they served as Senior Pastors of a growing and fruitful church in Central Illinois. Jakob and Leah have led and taught evangelism teams at Christ for the Nations and traveled extensively as evangelists both locally and internationally. Jakob served as the staff evangelist of Trinity Church in Cedar Hill Texas under the leadership of Pastor Jim Hennesy.

In 2017 Jakob and Leah joined the staff of King's Cathedral and Chapels under the leadership of Dr. James Marocco. They experienced tremendous growth in the church they pastored in Lahaina Maui. 

 

Today, they are on assignment to plant churches on the Island of Hawaii (The Big Island). They are pioneering a new work in Kailua-Kona. Jakob and Leah live in Kona with their two amazing children, Moriah and Gabriel.
